Nathan works with children, teens, adults, couples and families to help them address trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, big changes in their lives like divorce or changes including transitions, and emotional and behavioral difficulties. He also works with parents on improving parenting and families looking to decrease conflict and stay connected.
I have worked with youth and families for the last 10 years in a variety of settings, ranging from schools to community mental health. Working with resilient people from all walks of life has given me a greater appreciation for everyone’s therapeutic journey.
I strive to create an environment that is supportive and compassionate so that you can experience healing and growth. I believe there is no “one-size-fits-all” form of therapy. Instead, I can partner with you and support you in the way that is the most helpful.
Having received trainings in trauma and grief, I am a Certified Trauma Professional and a Certified Grief Informed Professional. I am also passionate about helping you work through issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, parenting, relationships, life transitions, personal goals, and faith-related issues.
Through the trauma-informed lens, I involve narrative, attachment, and somatic elements into therapy. With children, I will often utilize play and art-based therapeutic interventions.
Sometimes we need someone to help us set goals, sometimes we need someone to listen, and sometimes we need a safe space to process. I would love to come alongside you as you take your next step toward healing and growth. You will find support, healing, growth and a new perspective.
