Are you feeling stuck and not sure how to move forward? Maybe you are in a life transition or a season of grief that has you feeling lost. In the same way, there may be habits, hurts in your past, or relational dynamics that hinder your flourishing.
There is tremendous vulnerability and courage in reaching out for help. Likewise, you do not have to navigate this alone.
Primarily, you are the expert on your experiences and it is my privilege to journey alongside you and offer support. Additionally, therapy helps clients gain insight and provides the tools to move through pain, align with your values, and cultivate a meaningful life and satisfied relationships.
Hello, I’m Olivia. I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in the greater Sacramento area, specifically Roseville, CA and Fair Oaks, CA.
I specialize in helping couples, adults, children, teens, and families who are struggling with relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, grief and life transitions.
Therefore, my passion is supporting clients in adolescents and young adults in seasons of transition to thrive and working with clients to heal their relational, psychological, and emotional well-being.
Using research-based approaches such as the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Attachment-Based Family Therapy, I help clients improve communication and strengthen relationships, increase their emotional well-being and overcome anxiety, depression, and grief.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based practices that allow me to tailor therapy to a client’s unique needs. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
I provide therapy for:
- Couples seeking to improve their relationship by resolving conflict, improving communication and building intimacy
- Individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, mood disorders
- Children and Teens navigating peers, school, emotions and life challenges
- Families seeking help in solving disconnections, help with communication or transitions
- Faith-based integration (Christian Therapist)
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of California, Davis and my Master of Arts in counseling from Western Seminary in Sacramento. Additionally, I have a few years of experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. Trainings include Gottman Method Level 1, premarital counseling, treating affairs, and have received training in integrating spirituality into therapy if a client wishes.
I worked in a specialized memory care unit and various health care settings before attending a Gottman Method couples workshop that solidified my passion for working with clients to heal their relational, psychological, and emotional well-being. To be sure, it is a full circle experience now getting to walk alongside couples leading them through the Gottman Method.
Outside the Therapy Room
When I’m not working, I enjoy rock climbing, trying adventurous foods, traveling, and exploring new farmers markets.
Testimonial
“From the intake and review process I felt like an important customer and that they were here to help me through the process as well as my problems, Early on I knew when I would have a Therapist to engage with and when that happened it was very apparent that they read fully and understood my intake interview documents which were all easily completed online.”
