Hello! Welcome to the Relationship Therapy Center. I understand the significance of reaching out and I applaud you for taking the first step.
My name is Kim, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor in the Greater Sacramento area. Specifically, Roseville, CA and Fair Oaks, CA.
Importantly, I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment that will encourage your growth.
Whether you are an adult seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma or self esteem or a couple looking to get on the same page again and grow together.
My passion is supporting couples to improve their conversations, work through their difficulties and gain closeness.
“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved.”
~Helen Keller
How I Work
I use research-based approaches such as Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, TEAM- CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Brainspotting. These methods help clients restore healthy relationships, overcome affairs and betrayals, improve communication and reduce conflict. Additionally it helps them to get back on track and on the same page again. As well as working individually on overcoming anxiety, depression, and trauma.
From an integrative perspective, I tailor my approach based on your needs.
Wholeheartedly, I believe that human beings thrive when they experience healthy relationships. Therefore, when working with couples, families, or individuals, it is important to me to assist my clients in acquiring the proper tools and techniques to foster those stable relationships.
Additionally, our relationship with ourselves is paramount to our success; therefore, I am adamant in helping my clients to find a balance between their mind, body, and emotions.
You don’t have to struggle alone; I invite you to begin your journey of healing and transformation to achieve your goals.
I am that therapist who helps my clients define the process that allows them to be empowered and elevate their lives.

I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, and my graduate degree from Pepperdine University. Further, I have training in the Gottman Method Level 2, Brainspotting Phase 1 & 2, TEAM-CBT, Couples Addiction, Couples Affair Recovery
At a young age, I realized that my passion for helping others had to be at the center of my purpose, which inspired me to pursue a career as a therapist. As a Caribbean immigrant, I witnessed a lot of suffering and disappointment in my community and environment upon immigrating to America; therefore, I felt a change was needed.
These experiences instilled in me the commitment to advocate for those who are often marginalized and left to fend for themselves.
Therefore, I believe that everyone’s unique experiences influence the core of who we are, which consists of our trials and sufferings; however, when understood and managed can lead to our ambitions and success. I find joy in collaboratively working with my clients as they embark on their healing journey through ministering support by modeling a compassionate and non-judgmental perspective.
“People say do better, pull yourself up by your bootstraps, but it’s hard to do so if you don’t even have boots.” ~Viola Davis.
When I am not in session, you can find me exploring new adventures with family and friends. I’ve been a lifelong lover of music from all around the world and enjoy dancing to Soca, Calypso, & Bollywood. Because my goal is to create a supportive environment where my clients can take steps towards growth, I also bring the same approach to my personal life, fostering strong connections with those I encounter along my journey.
“Kim Tracy Harrichan is a wonderful and compassionate therapist. I admire her ability to remain neutral and see both sides. She helped my husband and I learn how to communicate with each other and work through challenges in a healthy way. Kim offered a judgement free safe space and I am so appreciative of her.”
